Directional Non-Force Technique® Chiropractor

(310) 392-1654

I was born and grew up in Los Angeles, California. I went to Westlake School for Girls (now Harvard-Westlake) and then to UCLA where I studied psychology.

Growing up, I attended Westside Ballet, which was co-founded by my mother, Rosemary Valaire, and Yvonne Mounsey. After studying ballet for over 22 years, I developed a keen interest in how the body works and decided to become a chiropractor. I received my doctorate at Cleveland Chiropractic College which was located in downtown Los Angeles.

While in chiropractic college, I specialized in Directional Non-Force Technique (DNFT), a low force chiropractic method that uses a gentle thumb thrust instead of the twisting, popping and cracking associated with standard chiropractic care. I have been using it ever since.

I am married with three sons and have a wonderful dog, a yellow lab. I like to swim, cook, travel and spend time with family and friends eating delicious Italian food!
